How to Enroll

Who Can Apply

Are you 18 or older and living in North Texas? We welcome adults who are ready to overcome challenges and start a new chapter, no matter their background. We’re here to support you on your path to a better future.

Steps to Join

  • Contact Us: Fill out our simple online form.

  • Meet Us: Attend an intake session and fill out a short form.

  • Get a Plan: Your new coach will help you set your goals.

What to Bring to Your Intake Session

  • State ID
  • Social Security card
  • Proof of address
  • Resume (optional—don’t worry if you don’t have one!)

SCHEDULE, LOCATION & TRANSPORTATION

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible options available).
Main Location: 3020 N. Westmoreland Rd, Dallas. Note: We have other partner sites across North Texas. Your coach can tell you more.
Transportation: We will help you plan your trip using public transit routes and other reliable options.

Goodwill Dallas runs many job training programs with support from Workforce Dallas. Our team helps you learn new skills, earn important certificates, and get the help you need to find and keep a job. We stay with you each step of the way.

A special part of this partnership is Workforce Dallas’s strong relationships with local employers. Through our Pathways to Placement program, we help connect you directly with companies that are actively hiring across the region. This means your training leads to real job opportunities—faster, with more support, and with employers who are ready to invest in your success.

We serve adults 18 and older in Dallas County, Collin County, and surrounding areas. We focus on helping those with documented disabilities or those rebuilding after a crisis.

Yes! Our programs are open to everyone 18 and older, regardless of educational background.

We connect participants with a variety of roles in industries like retail, logistics, administration, healthcare, and technology, depending on your skills and interests.
The length of the program depends on your goals and the training you choose. Some participants complete training in a few weeks, while others take longer.
No prior work experience is necessary. Our programs are designed to help you build the skills and confidence you need to succeed.
We understand that life can be complicated. Our coaches can connect you with resources to help with childcare, transportation, and other needs.
Yes, you are welcome to reapply if you need to pause and return later. We’re here to support you whenever you’re ready.
We recommend dressing in business casual attire for interviews and training sessions. If you need assistance with professional clothing, we can help.
Yes. We work with employers who believe in second chances. We also provide resources to help you get a fresh start.
We operate during standard business hours, Monday through Friday. We do offer some flexibility if needed.
We do not provide rides directly, but your coach will help you find reliable transportation options so you can get to class and work.
